and her hands I think are a little too big. and sometimes I think you shouldn't paint the sky, I mean not that much, just a little fade of blue or something like that, not that much.
and that's it, the colours (even if your scanner ate them) are pretty.

I absolutely LOVE the dress and the depth you gave the entire picture! However, I do have to agree that the tree is a fail and that her hands look like she has on worker-man's gloves. >< But besides that, very nice!!!

two critiques: first off, your tree seems a little 'flat'. It doesn't have a whole lot of dimension, and it doesn't really draw the eye.

second, I like the gloves, but they seem a bit square and bulky, and while I realize earth is not an element known for its grace, I think the gloves could look a little more natural, moving with the shape of the hands. Also, I recommend adding a pattern or something to them. Nothing fancy, but maybe even a seam moving down the back

...er... well... those weren't supposed to be gloves... Another fail for the day. When I draw gloves, you'll know. I never have them a normal color.

Ah, but the point of art is to bring out the unusual! Earth CAN be graceful. Have you never seen a plant starting to grow? I'm no English major, but I must protest the stero-type of Earth being solid, buckly, rough, and hard.

Well, you don't have to leave critique if you don't want to. It just helps me out a bit and gives me a chance to debate viewpoints!

Yeah, I didn't spend much time on the tree. It's not the point of the picture afterall. And I've got a real problem with hands, as most artists do. That will go away with practice though. Thanks!!!
