...and I can still fight! (Don't ask, just sounded good)

Hello everyone, 'tis Airi, and yes, it's been ahwile since I wrote a journal as was pointed out to me recently. My life is just, I wouldn't say busy, but eventfull... and I really don't feel like I've had much to say of any importance. I'm five weeks into the semester and things are starting to stabilize, both emotionally and otherwise. Break was a bit of a mess between my cat needing to be rushed to the vet on the first day to some social issues that I'm still learning how to deal with. But, by all means, my life is rather good; I can't complain about much of anything other than the food still sucks here. On the bright side, I don't think anyone was hospitalized last semester! Look! A whole semester without food poisoning!!! (And I've probably jinxed that now, sorry everyone.)

I've been watching my horoscopes a lot recently... why? They make me feel better. I can laugh when they're wrong and smile either way things go.

I guess the biggest change in my life since I stopped writing these journals (I don't count the new years one) is that I quit kendo. Those of you who have been around for the last year or so know that kendo was my favorite thing. So how did this come to be? Three reasons; 1. I had "mono" last semester (I still think the doctors were crazy), 2. The captain of the team hates me (for the fact I wasn't going to kendo), 3. My foot still bears marks from the damage I endured (shouldn't that be my first reason?). And with that, I turned my back to the only place I felt I belonged on campus and I haven't found a new haven yet. Though I decided it was high time I got a job. I want to do SOMETHING.

In other news, I've been reading a new manga series, called Black Bird. It's really good. Just my suggestion if you're looking for something to read, though it's not on one manga as far as I know.

Bottom line: My life is good. I'm happy. Really. Just lacking a bit in my social needs. But that's something I'm working on.
